The pattern of this tent pillow is particularly similar to those of pile rugs from the same area, namely, the Beni M'guild territory.
The V pattern is constructed mostly with white threads against a black background, which confers this piece a strong graphic quality. Minute, jewel-like details in emerald green, navy blue, purple, powerful red, and yellow are used to enliven the composition. A small henna stain on its bottom half reminds us of the environment in which it was originally used.
As with other pieces, the back is composed of horizontal stripes. But here, it seems more complex than usual and the front pattern is referenced more than most of the other pieces we have encountered.
It comes either unstuffed/unsewn or stuffed with natural pillow fibre.
