Both complex and childlike, this piece is striking in its melba peach palette. The eye is first directed along three rows of filled lozenges, each bursting with candy stripes of cobalt blue, orange, and pastel blue. Between them are more rows of lozenges, this time blank and composed in blacks and greys, some appearing more like scrawls than geometric shapes. The red 'background' is a trifle of shades and textures, speckled with the same blues and orange from the filled lozenges.
